The DMA Fighting System is broken down into three parts:

1. Standup

2. Middle Ground / Transition

3. Grappling

  • All disciplines are taught by world class instructors
  • Counterparts are designed to seamlessly integrate with each other
  • As you master the system, you become a complete fighter, with the ability to fight in any situation that you encounter either in competition or in real world situations

Class Structure

  • Each class is 1 hour and 15 minutes long
  • The classes are designed to greatly enhance both your skills and conditioning
  • Class begins with lining up in order of rank and bowing to your instructor
  • 15 minute warm up routine
  • Technique(s) of the day demonstration and explanation by instructor
  • Practice the technique with your partner with critique of instructor
  • Perform drills designed around the technique
  • Optional open sparring session

1. Standup

Dynamix Striking System

INSTRUCTOR: UFC and K1 Veteran – Antoni Hardonk

ATTIRE: Dynamix shorts and t-shirt

EQUIPMENT: boxing gloves, shin guards, mouth protector and groin protector

  • The Dynamix Striking System was developed by Antoni Hardonk utilizing techniques from muy thai and dutch kickboxing
  • The system utilizes all of the weapons you have when on your feet: Punches, Kicks, Knees, Elbows, and the Clinch
  • Students learn how to attack, defend, and counter with all types of strikes

2. Middle Ground / Transition

Take your opponent to the ground and defend from being taken down

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) 

INSTRUCTOR: Various

ATTIRE: Dynamix shorts and t-shirt

EQUIPMENT: boxing gloves, MMA Gloves, shin guards, mouth protector and groin protector

  • The focus is on transition between the ground and standup and vice versa
  • Students train the different aspects of MMA (Mixed Martial Arts)
  • We cycle different instructors through this class to give different perspectives and styles from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Striking, and Wrestling

 

Wrestling 

INSTRUCTOR: Dynamix Purple Belt – Oliver Kaufmann

ATTIRE: Dynamix shorts and t-shirt

EQUIPMENT: mouth protector and groin protector (wrestling shoes optional)

  • Traditional Greco Roman and Freestyle wrestling
  • Students train powerful take downs and defenses utilized in wrestling

 

3. Grappling

Fighting on the ground

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (gi)

INSTRUCTOR: Rickson Gracie Black Belt – Henry Akins

ATTIRE: Dynamix Gi

EQUIPMENT: mouth protector

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is primarily a grappling martial art focusing on using technique and leverage to overcome your opponent with different joint manipulations and chokes
  • It is thought to be the most efficient ground fighting system in the world
  • The gi Jiu-Jitsu classes are focused on the traditional art and students wear the gi, the traditional uniform

 

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (no gi)

INSTRUCTOR: Rickson Gracie Black Belt – Henry Akins

ATTIRE: Dynamix shorts and t-shirt

EQUIPMENT: mouth protector and MMA Gloves

  • The no-gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu utilizes most of the same techniques as the gi class but are taught and trained with shorts and a t-shirt
  • Designed more for real world situations
  • Training is faster paced
  • Students learn to defend themselves in real world situations from an opponent who tries to grab and subdue you or attack you with strikes, these classes are intended to prepare you to use Jiu-Jitsu for situations and encounters on the street or competitions that allow striking
