Dynamix Juniors
Junior MMA is a mixed martial arts program for kids broken into two age groups (ages 8-12 ages 13-16) at Dynamix Martial Arts that will introduce your children to the fundamentals of mixed martial arts and self defense in a fun, playful, and exciting way. Instead of focusing on one discipline, your child will get a well rounded and comprehensive instruction of techniques on their feet and on the ground. They will learn how to throw and defend punches and kicks, break falls, perform throws, and learn the basic building blocks of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu that will empower them to have the confidence they deserve as they walk through life as well as develop the maturity, camaraderie, and responsibility needed to train safely with another individual.
Technique
At Dynamix, we make learning martial arts fun. Through a series of drills and games we have developed, your kids will learn how to break falls to avoid injury, throw and defend strikes, perform throws, develop their reflexes, balance, flexibility and coordination while learning the basic building blocks of mixed martial arts in a fun and safe environment.
Confidence
Our program is designed to empower your kids by helping them achieve the goals we set for them within the program. Learning these techniques not only gives them a great feeling of achievement, but also the confidence and self esteem they need to stand up for themselves and avoid bullying in everyday life.
Discipline
A key element to the program is discipline. We teach our students to exercise control, self restraint, and proper dojo etiquette throughout the course.
Respect
One of the core values in the culture we are building at Dynamix is respect. Whether it is respecting your teacher or your fellow classmates and opponents, the message is consistent and clear: treat others how you would like to be treated yourself. We find that this atmosphere builds great camaraderie and strong core values in our students that will not only help them to excel in martial arts, but in life. Children that can not conform to the structure of the class or are disrespectful or disruptive on an ongoing basis will be dismissed from the program.
