We’re very proud of Lucas for winning the U.S. Muay Thai Open tournament in Arizona. Lucas fought 3 fights in 2 days, winning the first by unanimous decision and the second and third by TKO (leg kicks). We’re also very appreciative of Crystal for coordinating the fight and making the trip out to be in Lucas’ corner.
Join us tonight at Cabo Cantina in Brentwood for UFC 183!
Also tonight, our friend Tom Watson fights on the prelims starting at 5pm with coach Antoni in his corner!
Join us this Saturday, January 3rd at Cabo Cantina for UFC 182. It’s a great card from top to bottom, and the headline is one of the most exciting title fights in recent years. The main card kicks off at 7pm!
After a year of training with us, Lucas made his amateur debut this past weekend with great success. He not only won an impressive unanimous decision, but showcased all of his hard work and commitment to his training and the competition team. We’re very proud of him and looking forward to being a part of his bright future and kickboxing career. Check out of the highlights of his fight below:
Our student and friend, UFC heavyweight Stefan Struve, makes his return to the Octagon this weekend at UFC 175. It was just 3 months ago that Stefan was officially cleared by cardiologists to fight again after his heart condition was first diagnosed last year. In preparation for his return, Stefan did the last half of his training camp with us here in LA and brought our old friend Jared Hamman with him to help out. They trained many of the group classes with the team, as well as working one-on-one with Antoni, Henry, and Vladimir to work on all areas of Stefan’s game–kickboxing, jiu-jitsu, and wrestling. Coaches Antoni and Vladimir will be in Stefan’s corner on fight night, and many of the team will be cheering them on both in Vegas and in LA.
The UFC came by the gym to film and get an inside look at Stefan’s training camp for the Ultimate Insider show. Check it out below!
We were honored to have the opportunity to host the open workouts for Glory 17 today at the gym. More than 20 of the world’s best Kickboxing and Muay Thai fighters did pad work and interviews in preparation for the fights taking place this Saturday, June 21st at The Forum in Inglewood, CA. The entire card is stacked from top to bottom with amazing match ups. Our friend Rico Verhoeven is fighting Daniel Ghita for the Heavyweight title. Filip Verlinden takes on Melvin Manhoef for the Middleweight Championship Tournament Quarter Final. MMA and Kickboxing legend, Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic is also on the card opposite Jarrell Miller.
